Our Design Process

Working with an Interior Designer starts with trust.  It is important that you trust that I will listen to you and in this initial call we will discuss your vision to make sure that I am right Designer for you. 

 

At ONION the aim is not to create a cookie cut home but one that is organically yours, that feels like you, enhances your lifestyle and is a home that you can be proud of.  

Initial consultation - Free

So we established on the call that there is a connection and now its time to find out what needs worked on in the home.  Ideally this takes place in the property but this can be tricky so its possible to do virtually with the additional requirement of photos and floor plans.  Here we discuss the rooms to be worked on, who uses the space, how you want it to feel (the list goes on and on!)

Initial Meeting £80

Travel included within 15 miles of Glasgow, for beyond, this is charged at 25p per mile

Design time is where the magic happens, I will create a concept vision board for you which will give you an idea of the design direction.  Upon your acceptance I will move forward to a mood board with items that are currently available in the shops and I will send you the links to all of these items for you to purchase directly.  This is based on stock availability.  Any alternations or replacement sourcing required will incur additional charges.

1 x room design from £200 / 2 x room design from £375 /  3 x room design from £500 / additional rooms please get in touch for pricing

Mood board only from £150 per room

​

Any additional meetings are charged at £40 per hour.

Full Design management will include removal of old furniture, delivery, build and installation of new furniture, painting and any maintenance as required, removal of packaging and home styling.
